Traverser l'Angleterre à Vélo en mode Zéro - La Virgule

Cycling through England in Zero mode

Ben Expedition looks back on his latest Zero Waste adventure: Zero to Glasgow

Benjamin de Molliens tells us about this adventure:

"Hello ! 👋
On October 22, I left Lille alternating between sailing ⛵ and cycling 🚵 towards Glasgow. The goal? Join COP26 to lead climate change awareness workshops. I share this Expedition Zero ''to Glasgow'' with you in pictures: 0 waste, 0 new equipment and 0 carbon footprint.”

Crossing England by Bikepacking, without leaving a footprint.

“Leaving Lille in the afternoon, I reached Boulogne-Sur-Mer at night.
The next day towards the pontoons where I found Christian and his flamboyant red Harlequin just 50 years old. 7 hours of navigation, a cross-Channel and a few dolphins further, here we are in Dover, a beer in hand.

In the early morning, I get back on Greta, my bicycle, to attack the last 850 kilometers! Canterbury, London, the majestic but winding Peak District National Park, 🏔 Lancaster, the breathtaking but challenging Kirstone Pass, Carlisle and finally… Scotland on the 31st! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

At first rather spared, whether on my bike or in my sleeping bag, ⛺ I finished this trip soaked, frozen, 🥶 but whole!”

Scotland in Bickepacking, plan for the heat!
